Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate Art lessons aligned with the school's curriculum.
- Encourage students to explore creativity, imagination, artistic expression, and critical thinking.
- Teach a range of artistic techniques, including drawing, painting, design, and mixed media.
- Prepare lesson plans, projects, learning resources, and assessments.
- Monitor students' artistic development and provide constructive feedback.
- Differentiate instruction to accommodate students with varying abilities and learning needs.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-organised classroom environment.
- Ensure the safe and appropriate use of art materials, tools, and equipment.
- Organise and support art exhibitions, displays, competitions, and school events.
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support students' overall development.
- Participate in school meetings, professional development programmes, and extracurricular activities.
